Museum of Cartoon Art

In the main building of Savitribai Phule Pune University, there is a curious museum recently opened for the public. It’s dedicated to cartoon art and is said to be the first of its kind in the country.

The museum highlights the importance of cartoons, illustrations, and satire in the development of society. It also emphasizes the social responsibilities of political cartoonists.

The museum also contains a section dedicated to explaining how cartoons were historically used for political propaganda and to influence the opinions of people. The museum covers a wide range of topics that revolve around cartoons and their importance in society.
